Ground Cherries

Ground cherries are solanum, closely related to tomatoes, tomatillos, peppers, eggplants, and potatoes. The fruits are smaller than cherry tomatoes, and gold colored.

The flavor can vary, but is described as a cross between pineapple and strawberry.
