Pepper, Chili: Gila River Serrano
$5.50 $5.50These were grown by a neighbor of ours when our farm was near Phoenix. She brought them with her from central Sonora, Mexico. The plant grew year-round in that climate for years (zone 9).
These farms were about 1/2 mile from the Gila River. When we moved to Apache County, she kindly donated a good stash of the old neighborhood’s favorite chilis.
